About Me:

I am in my early 60s. Having grown up in Chicagoland, I was fortunate as a kid to hang out with a lot of older kids in the neighborhood who had Excellent Musical Taste. So I was turned on to Frank Zappa, Yes, Genesis, ELP, King Crimson, and a variety of many more bands when I was a very young teenager. I began playing guitar at 16, and currently have many acoustic & electric guitars & amps.

I graduated from Columbia College, Chicago, in the 80s, with a double-major: Music Composition, Ear-training and Theory - AND - Creative Writing / English Literature, with an emphasis in Poetry and Journalism.

So, you could say that I have a Type A Personality. I'm pretty much Result Focused. And I was fortunate to be able to retire in my late 50s.

So my LIFE is currently immersed in MUSIC!!!
