This is my favorite cover version that I’ve heard of Bold AL! It’s in the middle of the vid. You guys tore it up and it seemed so fresh! Both solos are outstanding even with this not so awesome sound. Eric Johnson has this unique approach to vocal phrasing that somehow makes me laugh but at the same time makes me think it’s the greatest thing that ever happened. Aside from that, the guitar solos are again mind blowing and bring so many different emotions up for me. My other favorite version is Shawn lane playing it when he was really young. Something about that one brought tears to my eyes because I didn’t know know it was possible to have such intense passion for every millisecond of playing. Anyway your the man Dweezil ! Interested to hear your thoughts on playing with Eric as you both are such an inspiration to me. Oh and have you heard this version of yourself playing Bold?
